I’ve been playing around lately with something I’ve wanted to do ever since I first finished Ithaca is Gorges. Because I feel this ever-compelling urge to make my fics as keepable as possible, I decided to go ahead and format the ebooks, in case people want to put my fics on their readers.
So you will now find ePub (for Sony Reader and B&N nook) and mobi (for Kindle) files for Ithaca is Gorges and Da Capo on their respective pages. Please feel free to download and share!
Excellent!!
Sweet!
With K’s iPad, now I can download these. 🙂
teehee.
“Mom. Give me back my iPad.”
Thank you SO much!!!! So glad I bought this IPad now 😉
Yeeps! Don’t know how I missed this, but, you’re very welcome. 🙂 Enjoy! (And enjoy the iPad…I’m not a Mac person, but I won’t lie, I’m sort of jealous.)
thank you very much!
Sweet!
is Mobi not mac compatable? been trying to download IIG but the script is corrupted.
It should be. But I’m about to head into campus, so I’ll test it. I had to do some fancy footwork to WordPress to even be able to upload it, so it’s not out of the question that it would behave bizarrely. Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks! I tried reverting the script and it did allow the download but it was entirely written in code. FWIW I am downloading to the newest generation Kindle, not sure if that makes a difference.
Here is a sample of whatI am getting this when I hit the mobi link on the IIG page sorry for the multiple posts:

Okay. I think I’ve figured it out. If you control click, you’ll get the “save link as” option. Leave the file extension as is when you download it, and that should leave the .mobi file that you can then throw on your Kindle.
This’ll teach me to do web design without access to a mac. 🙂
I am wondering if it may be my Mac, I followed your directions and still got the book in code. It could be a conversion issue not sure though, I am going to send an e-mail off to a friend who is a mac genius she might be able to figure out the conversion.
I can live with the PDF version for now 🙂
