Something new is coming…

…and so I’m going to pretend like I in no way forgot to put my most recent piece (which is now 3.5 years from initial post and 1 year from final post) on my website. Nothing to see here, except for Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Vampire… :whistles:

Such a great surprise to see the email notifications in my inbox this morning! It’s like an old friend has come home. I can’t wait to devour your new work.

Best compliment. 🙂 This new piece is not super long, but I’m working on finishing the big project. Trying not to abandon anything anymore. I got whacked by fic!muse, though, and a three-chapter short piece popped out in 72 hours. Thank you for still being here!

Was excited to see so many emails from you, even if it was for an “old” story. It’s just nice to know you are still around somewhere.

I did not mean to send so many! I had to re-learn how to use my website. Hahahaha. I will make up for it by posting a reasonably meaty short as soon as I get it back from my beta.

    Yay!

FYI: If you haven’t used your blog in years, make sure you update your site and plug-ins. I had a site hacked once because of not-updating and I almost lost everything. Luckily I had a back-up.

Thanks! I do stay pretty on top of the updates here, even though I do a not so great job of updating here. 🙂 I’m actually pretty hard at work at finishing One Day right now but work writing keeps butting in. I had several new chapters done this summer and then got revisions from the press on my first book (academic volume that is the crux of my promotion!) and so I keep having to shift gears. It is frustrating AF. Appearances of old friends keep me going!
